Statement of Faith
1. THE PURPOSE OF HUMANITY
We believe that our highest purpose is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
2. THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible—comprised of 66 books—is the inspired, infallible Word of God, trustworthy in all its parts and without error in its original manuscripts.
Key Scriptures: 2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Corinthians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:20–21
3. THE NATURE OF GOD
God is one Being, eternally existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and indivisible.
Key Scriptures: Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14
4. HUMANITY AND SIN
God created humanity good, but through disobedience we fell into sin. As a result, all people are spiritually dead and unable to attain righteousness on their own.
Key Scriptures: Genesis 1–3; Romans 5:12, 18
5. JESUS CHRIST
Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and is the Savior of the world.
Key Scriptures: Luke 1:26–35; John 1:18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6
6. THE WORK OF CHRIST
Christ died for our sins, was buried, rose again on the third day, and appeared to His followers. He now reigns in heaven and will return bodily and visibly for His Church.
Key Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 15:1–4; Romans 4:25; John 14:2–3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18
7. SALVATION
We are saved by grace through faith—not by works—through repentance and belief in the finished work of Jesus on the cross.
Key Scriptures: Ephesians 2:8–9; Hebrews 9:12; Romans 5:11
8. BAPTISM
The necessity of water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in order to fulfill the command of Christ
Key Scriptures: Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:36–39; 19:1–6
9. THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit transforms lives at conversion, producing spiritual fruit. We also believe in the ongoing empowerment and filling of the Spirit for service and witness.
Key Scriptures: Acts 2:1–4; Galatians 3:14–15; Acts 4:31
10. SPIRITUAL GIFTS
The gifts of the Holy Spirit listed in 1 Corinthians are still active and are to be used for the building up of the Church.

13. COMMUNION
We observe the Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice, open to all who believe in Him.
Key Scripture: 1 Corinthians 11:23–32
14. ETERNITY
We believe in eternal life with God for believers and eternal separation from God for unbelievers.
Key Scriptures: Mark 9:43–48; 2 Thessalonians 1:9; Revelation 20:10–15
15. SATAN AND FINAL JUDGEMENT
Satan is a real being destined for eternal judgment, along with those who reject God.

17. THE MISSION OF THE CHURCH
The Church is God’s chosen instrument to extend His kingdom on earth before Christ returns.
Key Scriptures: Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 1:20–23; 3:10

20. BIBLICAL COVENANTS
We interpret God's work in history through the framework of divine covenants as revealed in Scripture.
21. THE CHURCH AS CHRIST'S BODY
The true Church is made up of all who belong to Christ—His body and bride.
Key Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 12:12–14; Ephesians 5:25–27

25. HUMAN IDENTITY
God created each person male or female, and this gender identity is sacred and not subject to change by human choice.
26. OUR STANCE AS A CHURCH
While we welcome all who are seeking truth and healing, we do not affirm lifestyles contrary to Scripture and will not participate in or officiate any ceremony that violates biblical teaching on marriage and sexuality.
